While You are a Patient
As you settle in, this is the ideal time to discuss any last-minute questions or concerns you might have about your treatment with the clinical staff at Neuro Spinal Hospital. The following guide helps answer some concerns that many new patients have.
Patient Identification Number and Wrist Band
During the admission process, you will be assigned a patient identification number (PIN) and receive a wrist band with your name and PIN number. For your own safety, please wear this wrist band at all times at the Neuro Spinal Hospital.
Ward Orientation
Once you are admitted, you will be shown to your room. A nurse will be waiting to assist you and you will meet the physician(s) caring for you. Your physician(s) will direct the nursing staff as to your care plan, tests, diets, and treatments.
Privacy & Consent
We respect the many cultures and religions that come together in our facility. During admission, you may be asked to sign a general agreement for treatment and specific consent forms for procedures.
Doctors’ Rounds & Nurse Call
Physicians are on duty 24/7. Standard rounds are conducted in the morning. All beds are fitted with a call buzzer to contact nursing staff whenever necessary.
Medications & Personal Items
Please do not bring medications from home. Please bring personal items such as toiletries and slippers. Large amounts of cash and valuables are strongly discouraged; the hospital is not responsible for loss.
Food Service & Visiting Hours
A balanced diet is provided. Meals are served: Breakfast 07:30–09:00, Lunch 12:30–14:00, Dinner 18:00–19:30. There are no restrictions on visiting hours except for the intensive care unit.
